So Glad It's Washable

He thought this was so funny. This is the most genuine smile I have caught on camera in a long time. I was impressed that it looks so even because he did it without a mirror.

Like A Dog

I put down warm rugs out of the dryer and Joey quickly curled up on one. Andrew didn't know why, but he knew he had to do it too.

My Family

I saw this lovely family picture when I was going through pictures the other day. I had completely forgotten about it. I love how happy Joey looks and how oblivious Joe is. Notice poor Andrew.

Snow in South Carolina?!

It is extremely difficult to see in the pictures, but it snowed here. It was the first time in the five years we have been here. It didn't stick, but it was beautiful. I miss the snow so much and this gave me a glimpse of it. There were lovely light flurries dancing around. It was Andrew's first snow and he was completely oblivious. He was just happy to be running around outside. Joey tried so hard to catch the snowflakes. The night was completed with hot chocolate. What a wonderful treat!

Children's Museum

Today my mommy group went to the Children's Museum in downtown Charleston. It was a blast! It is so fun to be in an environment that is just for them. Unfortunately, I only took a couple of pictures and Joey was left out. Poor Joey! Maybe our group photographer (Courtney) will have some of him too.
Update...She only had a picture of his shoe, so you will just have to trust me when I say he was there and he had fun.

Happy New Year!

Joey got to stay up late on New Year’s Eve and watch fireworks.  He also got to burn his first sparkler.  He was so excited!

Andrew slept soundly through everything.  I was amazed since our backyard neighbors had some very beautiful, but very loud fireworks.

Joe's Impossible Shot

Just a little background first. Joe recently took up archery again after quite a few years. He had a compound bow, but decided to switch to a traditional long bow just a couple of months ago. He was practicing at Christmas time and he did an amazing shot that I just had to share. Yes, that is an arrow shot into another arrow!

Isn't he getting cute?

You would think that after 2 months I would have better stuff than this.

Andrew finds this really funny and does it quite often.  Hope it doesn't stick.

I promise I will be adding real things soon.

HURRICANE HANNA

It was only a tropical storm, but Hurricane Hanna just sounds more exciting.  We were prepared for a storm and were a little disappointed with what we got.  A decent amount of rain, but less wind than we get on any other day.  We decided to take advantage of the warm rain occurring just before bathtime and go play in the rain.  There was no lightning, so don't worry.

We started out playing in our raincoats and an umbrella for Andrew.  We quickly ended up throwing off the raincoats and Andy ended up in just a diaper.  We were playing kickball and Daddy fell over with quite a commotion whenever he was hit.  Joey loved the theatrics.
